Exposing the Volvo Cars
As an experiment of the Product Experiments Team on Volvo Cars we collaborated with the dev team responsible for all Volvo Cars homepages. Insights showed the page did not perform well in capturing users and funneling them to desired content.
As my team stepped in, with me as UX-lead, we decided to kick it all off with a design sprint to find a focus and gather quick insights of what our users could want out of this hub like starting page.
A few iteration of the design and content later we had a fresh homepage format that performed better than the old design in an A/B test in generating more qualitative leads into the product pages.
Versions of our team’s page were live on Volvo Cars UK & US homepages before they recently re-branded to promote electric vehicles.
